Luna’s Surgery
December 2015

This little kitten knew where to look for help for her painful condition. She went up to a Kenner policewoman who was conducting a traffic stop and found a savior. In the kitten’s short life, she sustained an eye injury to her right eye which has resulted in blindness and glaucoma. The glaucoma causes consistent pain and in order to have a pain free life, she needed to have surgery. Now she can be a normal (one eyed) kitten and live her life free of chronic pain. We want to thank all who donated to her care. Through our Veterinary Care Foundation Angel Fund, we were able to raise half of her surgical fee and Chateau Veterinary Hospital donated the balance. If you would like to help us help needy pets you can donate the Veterinary Care Foundation link.
